About

In 1995, the Bennett-Hofford Company facilitated the Hall’s amazing transformation into an arts venue. They created a first class performance space that retained its original historical Charleston style aesthetic. Since opening its doors, the Music Hall has hosted a myriad of acts including top performers such as, David Byrne and Joan Baez. Renown bluegrass musician, Ricky Skaggs, won a Grammy for a live album he recorded in the Music Hall titled Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder: Live at The Charleston Music Hall back in 2003. The Music Hall’s goal is to create extraordinary musical, artistic, and theatrical experiences and promote the finest local, regional, and national acts while also encouraging local and communal participation.

About

In 1980, two great friends and music lovers decided to buy a space on the north side of Columbia, MO and turn it into a music venue. What started with local and regional bands quickly turned into now-legendary bands taking the stage (The Pixies, The Replacements, R.E.M. and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, just to name a few). A decade later, the club was moved to the historic theater downtown that we know and love today as The Blue Note. Beyond live music, The Blue Note also features stand-up comedy, dance parties, weddings, community events, and even “Brew n’ View” movies from time to time. Who knows, we may even host an occasional burlesque show now and then to liven things up!

About

The newly renovated, multi-purpose space will allow for live music, private event rentals – such as weddings, corporate events, and community fundraisers – comedy shows, themed dance nights, and more. The new Music Farm is a joint venture between Frank Productions, LLC and Live Nation and run by the same team as the Charleston Music Hall. Our team plans to take the same energy, creativity, and customer service standards established at the Music Hall over the past decade to bring new life to one of Charleston’s most iconic venues.
