The Sylvee has become a venue for emerging artists, established cultural icons, and community events right in the heart of Madison’s East Washington corridor – a place known for its history of industry, grit, and work ethic. In just a few short years, The Sylvee stage has hosted music icons including Lizzo, Lana Del Rey, Billy Strings, Shinedown, Vampire Weekend, Lil Wayne, Zeds Dead, Smashing Pumpkins, Greta Van Fleet, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Ghost, Noah Kahan, The Head And The Heart, and so many more. Beyond live music, The Sylvee has also become a space for book fairs, craft markets, trade shows, weddings, fundraisers, and private events.

Since its re-opening in 2007, the Majestic stage has hosted such notable musicians as Sturgill Simpson, Run The Jewels, Billy Strings, Sufjan Stevens, Tyler Childers, Lizzo, Against Me!, Jack Harlow, Mavis Staples, Skrillex, Fall Out Boy, Noah Kahan, Ghost, Odesza, Luke Combs, Ed Sheeran, Pretty Lights, Twenty One Pilots, and many more. Beyond live music, the Majestic also features stand-up comedy, dance parties, weddings, community events, and even “Brew n’ View” movies from time to time. Who knows, we may even host an occasional burlesque show now and then to liven things up.

The Orpheum Theater opened its doors in 1927 and has been a notable landmark in downtown Madison since with its iconic sign towering over State Street. The building’s limestone Art Deco exterior and French Renaissance interior were designed by the architecture firm Rapp and Rapp who also designed other notable theaters such as Radio City Music Hall and the Chicago Theatre. Throughout the years, The Orpheum in Madison has hosted vaudeville shows, movies, weddings, corporate events, musicians such as Bob Dylan, The Roots, David Byrne, The Strokes, Lil Wayne, Neutral Milk Hotel, Tori Amos, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Snoop Dogg, Chuck Berry, Mac Miller, and Bob Marley and comedians including Chelsea Handler, Nick Offerman, Lewis Black, and many more.

Camp Randall Stadium is the home for Wisconsin’s football team. The current capacity (76,057) ranks among the nation’s largest school-owned stadiums. Distinguished by its impressive double-deck structure, Camp Randall Stadium has been the Badgers’ facility since its opening game on Nov. 3, 1917. It has been host to UW football games, outdoor concerts, Drum Corps International, Green Bay Packer exhibition games, and other large public events. Besides the field, the historic Camp Randall Stadium complex houses the athletic department offices in Kellner Hall, the Athletic Operations Building, a team training table, lounges, the Fetzer Center study area for student-athletes, as well as film, training and weight rooms and a display of football memorabilia in the new football offices located in the eastside superstructure.

Breese Stevens Field has a very rich history dating back to it’s construction in 1926. Originally built as a baseball stadium, Breese Stevens has since played host to celebrities, athletes, and events from all walks of life. Now utilized as a multi-purpose stadium, Breese Stevens Field hosts a variety of events from concerts, professional soccer, ultimate frisbee and festivals. The complex was designated as a Madison Landmark in 1995.

The Kohl Center, opened in 1998, is the home for the UW men’s, and women’s basketball teams, and the men’s hockey teams. Since opening, the building has held up as one of the finest on-campus facilities in all of collegiate athletics. Areas specific to the UW programs were designed by the Wisconsin coaches with the programs in mind. From computers to lounge areas to audio/video systems, the Kohl Center provides everything under one roof. In addition to the competitive floor, the Kohl Center houses state-of-the-art practice facilities, the Fetzer Academic Center, athletic training and rehabilitation facilities, strength and conditioning training areas, newly remodeled locker rooms and coaching staff offices.
